Pro-wolf Anti-Wolfaboo Stamp by Lupen202 Pro-wolf Anti-Wolfaboo Stamp by Lupen202
I felt like making another stamp.. I'm sure there's another one out there that's similar to it, but oh well.

Yes I love wolves, along with a ton of other canines, but due to wolfaboos and their constant stupidity and baww'ing I've grown to not like them nearly as much as I used to. But wolves really are beautiful animals, and people shouldn't hate them solely because of their crazed fans. Afterall, it's not the wolves' fault that their fanbase is so god damn idiotic, and there's certainly a difference between a rational, educated wolf-fan and a wolfaboo.

--

Definition of a Wolfaboo:

"Derived from the term Weeaboo (referring to a person overly obsessed with japan.) A Wolfaboo: "A person overly obsessed with wolves; one who equates a human life to that of a wolf; someone who defends and or glorifies wolves killing humans. Often misspelling the plural of wolf as 'wolfs'; Often, will make up lies and propaganda to defend wolves; most of the lies do not hold true when put to actual research.""

dem wolfdszes are cute!!!!11 uvu how dare u instult the most magnicdcient amnimal!

Honestly I hate this kinda people. (Ok hate is too strong, I'm just irked.) Like... They say: "You like wolves too?", then start going on about how "cute" wolves are and how "humans invade the wolfs' lands!!1" (<--- literally the opposite in lots of cases). Ughh. I don't like infantilizing strong, majestic large carnivores into something "cute" to be oggled at, and I don't like treating wolves like saints that never eat people or brutally maul someone's pets. I'm like... "Yeah I love wolves too but not the way you do".

Which bimbo made up a "word" for the English language to describe a person who is obsessed with wolves?

Making up new "words" when there are already other English words (or any other language) available that can mean the same thing indicates that person is SEVERELY intellectually and academically challenged. Go pay attention at school and read some books please.

This pro-wolf/anti-wolfaboo war on DA is infantile and retarded. Does anyone realize that the "anti"-wolf folks are just trolling you? Now if they really are SERIOUS about their arguments, well then they can't be helped. There is no use trying to argue with them. It's like trying to convert a radical islamist. You're giving them a reason to be by continuing arguments with them and they've become the monkey on your back.

Hey, there's this thing called slang. Wolfaboo is one of the many slang words. And plus, the English language is evolving all the time. New words are created every day. Maybe some day the term 'wolfaboo' would be considered a word. Who knows?

And yes, I agree that this whole wolfaboo thing is a bit silly.

Because of that, I'm worried some people will get the wrong idea and think I'm a wolfaboo.
I should use this.

The only thing I don't agree with, is wolf hunting for population control or otherwise. I know I'm going to sound like a total idiot here but instead of killing a few for population control, why not release them to Yellowstone or somewhere else where the population is small? I'm not sure how many wolves are in yellowstone but I've always thought that there could be a better way, rather then kill them. *Runs away at the risk of being labeled a wolfaboo* My problem with wolfaboos is the fact that they are just ridiculously justifying everything a wolf does. If you approach a wolf, it most likely will run. If you corner it, it's going to go after you, ESPECIALLY if it has pups. Even Wolfaboos should know that!

Actully, the population in Yellowstones is kind of the problem. There are so many wolves there, to the point the elk and deer herds are getting in serious trouble. The last thing they need is more wolves. Wolves have being doing so good in. America, they aren'tp endangered anymore and have no Natural Enemies in America, unlike the one's India, where Tigers hunt wolves.

And wolves actully do attack Humans for food. Its just rare...In America. In India, wolf attacks are quite common.

In my opinion, there are three cases its okay to kill wolves.

1: Population control. When there are too specimens of a species to the point they hurt an ecosystem, Some of them must be killed. It happens with deer, it happens with boars, it happens with rabbits and it happens with foxes.

2: When a pack of wolves attacks a farmer's herd too often, things must be done. If A farmer Sees wolves on his land attacking his animals, I think he has a right to shoot them, for defending his animals. 'Sides, a few dead wolves would send a messege its dangerous there. However, if the farmer goes of into the Woods and Shoots wolves, then its Poaching. Which I am against at.

3: Although rare, Man-Eater wolves do exist, usually in Asia. If an animal Eats a human once, it may be an accident. But if the same animal (Or a pack in this case) starts to hunt Humans more and more often, I think they should put down. The same thing happens with lions, Tigers and Leopards. So once again,  I do not see a reason to exclude wolves.

However,  I'm glad you realize that not everything wolves do is justified. Wolves are animals, predators. In my opinion, they are far from noble when studying their behavior. Does this make them less cool? No! But. Wolfaboos don't know what a wolf realy is.

My information, however, may be a bit outdated. Don't be afraid to Say that. XD

How is the population in Yellowstone a problem? The elk herd within the park itself has reduced but the herds north and south of it are large. In fact, they have found out that the herd to the north of the park has doubled in size: billingsgazette.com/lifestyles…. They even had an extended elk hunt in Gardiner for 10 years trying to get the elk populations down. They caused problems with ranchers (which by the way, farmers grow crops and ranchers have livestock). Several biologists in the area have said that the wolf numbers will more or less control themselves.

Misinformation and propaganda apply to any side of a debate.

Although, I have a feeling most of this is about those Twilight movies and not reality. But if someone really thinks they are coming back as a wolf how does that hurt anything? Telling false facts does.

Are you retarded by choice or by accident? Where on this map do you see any distributed wolf packs in northern or southern Yellowstone (or according to your link, SE Montana)? The reason they have extended elk hunts is because there are no wolves in those areas. Elk migrate away from the predator pit that is Yellowstone. All of the wolves that were introduced into YNP immediately started to migrate northwest. Some moved south into Colorado, but the point is that all of the prey species vacated that area away from the wolves that were pressuring them into an inevitable localized extinction. Just look at the Lolo elk herd, Shiras moose, etc...

"Several biologists in the area have said that the wolf numbers will more or less control themselves."
Source?

"

Funny enough, it applies moreso to the pro-wolf side.

The extended hunts are outside of Gardiner, MT. Are you saying there are no wolves in Park County? And that link referenced elk herds in SE Montana, not wolves.

Um? There hasn't been an extended elk hunt near Gardiner since 2008 (if you have proof of otherwise, I'd love to see it). No, I never said there were no wolves in Park County (Park County was never even brought up in the discussion, so, nice red herring). Your article mentions over-inflation of elk in certain hunting zones, specifically 703-705. Here is another map for you. Correlate that with the wolf distribution map and then try to rationalize that in your tiny brain.. it's almost as if you're viewing this backwards. The elk in SE Montana will be managed by humans as they always have been, even your own source says this. So where is the issue?

"Several biologists in the area have said that the wolf numbers will more or less control themselves."
Source? <-You still have yet to provide me with an answer to this.

Gardiner is in Park County. I take it you haven't heard of FWPs plans for that area then?

So do you hunt?

I really don't know how to even direct you to those sources, they are people I know. It's not like they are not a map or a link I can post.

If Montana FWS had plans for an extended elk season, it would've been released in a newsletter on their site. Again, provide sources for your claim. Yes, I hunt. How is that relevant? And your words were "several biologists," if they were accredited and had any published work regarding the matter, you would be able to link me. Since you can't, it's clear that they are merely speaking from opinion. As a PS - who are these so-called biologists?

I just find a big hate against wolfaboos , I mean most think that wolvesare all powerful figures and such like that and believe that if they like wolves , wolves would not attack them I mean really what is wrong with the society today? People are believing animals as gods.. .-. Really people all I have to say is wake up and realize wolves are just wild free carnies to be themselves and that is what they do. *Sigh*

Many people find animals Gods thousands of years ago... Like Ra... Many cultures look to animals as very important spirit. The raven being a common one. So it's not just these days. I think we all just need to leave each other alone and let people be what they want. Whether it be Gay, straight, furry, wolfaboo, whatever you're into, I don't care, and I know a lot of people don't either. This wolfaboo crap (even though I don't know very much about it) seems to have gotten out of hand. Let them be who they want to be. Aren't people encouraging that in their kids when they're little? This society has gotten very... how do I put this... enraged? Meaning the smallest thing pisses everyone off. I hate it.

Same here. Wolves are beautiful and intelligent animals, and they have their place, but they are still animals and can be very dangerous.

I feel the same way about Mustang horses. I've been seeing a lot of anti-Mustang posters and stamps, and they're all protesting misconceptions about Mustangs. People are sick of hearing "Mustangs should run free forever," so they become anti-Mustang without knowing the facts. They don't realize that some pro-Mustang people do know their facts and not all pro-Mustang people have the same opinions.

'one who equates human life to that of a wolf'

...You said that like it was a bad thing....

And defending wolves for killing humans is actually reasonable considering wolves(like all animals besides humans)attack on instinct

But I agree, wolfaboos are habitual liars and don't research at all :/
